This fund typically allocates a minimum of 80% of its total capital, which includes its net assets and any borrowed investment funds, to a diverse collection of equity securities from large-capitalization companies. To qualify, these companies must, at the time of purchase, have a market value within the range of those included in the S&P 500 Index. The equity holdings within this 80% allocation may consist of common stocks, American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), and real estate investment trusts (REITs).
