The fund aims to achieve both appreciation of capital over the long term and the generation of income. Nevertheless, it is expected that income yields will be modest given the prevailing market environment. At least 80% of the fund's net assets, alongside any capital leveraged for investment purposes, are committed to securities issued by companies operating within the United States. Its core investment approach focuses predominantly on common equities, encompassing indirect ownership through depositary receipts, from large corporations with a market valuation of $10 billion or more.
