Typically, this fund allocates a significant portion, specifically 80% or more, of its total assets to stocks of utility companies listed in the United States. It also utilizes derivatives, primarily including futures contracts and options tied to securities, other futures, and various stock market indices. The fund has the flexibility to make considerable investments in utility companies with smaller to medium market values. Furthermore, it can acquire American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) to invest in utility firms located outside the U.S. and may also hold U.S. government bonds.
