As a standard practice, the fund commits a minimum of 80% of its net assets, along with any borrowed capital used for investment purposes, to the stock securities of companies included in the S&P 500 Index at the time of acquisition. This index is designed to broadly represent the risk and return characteristics typical of large-capitalization U.S. equities.
