The Northern Mid Cap Index Fund aims to allocate a substantial portion—specifically, a minimum of 80%—of its total net assets to equity securities that comprise the S&P MidCap 400® Index. Its strategy involves replicating the index's performance by holding these stocks in proportions that closely mirror their relative weighting within the benchmark. Additionally, the fund may invest in futures contracts based on the S&P MidCap 400 Index, provided these are authorized by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
