Matthews Japan Fund

This fund generally seeks to achieve its objective by allocating at least 80% of its total assets—including any capital borrowed for investment—into the ordinary and preferred shares of companies primarily associated with Japan. For the purpose of these investments, a company or its securities are deemed to be located in Japan if they exhibit significant operational or economic connections to the country.
