This fund seeks to generate significant income by primarily allocating its capital, under typical market conditions, to a globally diversified portfolio of fixed-income securities. These debt instruments originate from both U.S. and international markets, encompass a range of maturities, and are chosen by the portfolio managers for their strong income-generating potential. While the fund generally caps its exposure to speculative-grade (or "junk") bonds at 65% of its total assets, this limit can be temporarily surpassed in unusual situations, such as receiving unexpectedly large allocations of new bond offerings.
