The fund aims to achieve its investment goals by primarily allocating capital, under typical market conditions, to a diverse array of U.S. and international debt instruments. These securities, which vary in their maturity dates, are selected by the managers for their potential to deliver substantial income. While the fund generally restricts its holdings of lower-rated, or below-investment-grade, debt to 65% of its total assets, this cap may be temporarily exceeded if extraordinary market situations arise, such as an unexpectedly high volume of new debt offerings.
