This fund predominantly allocates its capital to equity instruments, specifically ordinary and preference shares, issued by smaller capitalization firms. Under typical market conditions, a minimum of 80% of its total net assets, inclusive of any borrowed capital utilized for investment, will be directed towards securities of these small-cap companies. The investment adviser characterizes small-cap entities as those whose market capitalization falls within the spectrum represented by the Russell 2000® Index.
