The primary objective of this fund is to achieve capital appreciation. It consistently allocates at least 80% of its assets to equity securities, with a principal focus on the common stocks of highly leveraged companies. This includes firms that issue lower-quality debt or employ capital structures with significant financial leverage. While primarily equity-focused, the fund also has the flexibility to invest in sub-investment grade debt securities, often referred to as high-yield or "junk" bonds. Its investments are not restricted geographically, encompassing both domestic and international issuers.
