Under normal operating conditions, the fund dedicates a minimum of 80% of its total assets to income-generating instruments such as floating rate loans and other variable-rate debt securities. Its principal investments are in senior floating rate loans, which originate from both U.S. and international companies and are commonly known as "Senior Loans." These loans typically possess credit ratings below investment grade, signifying a elevated risk profile and speculative attributes often associated with what is informally called "junk" status.
