Calamos Hedged Equity Income Fund Class A

This fund strives to generate comprehensive returns while experiencing less volatility than typical stock markets. Ordinarily, a minimum of 80% of its total assets (including any funds acquired through borrowing for investment purposes) is dedicated to equity securities or other instruments that share economic traits with stocks or the broader equity landscape. The fund also retains the option to strategically sell call options, which may be written against a segment of its existing equity portfolio, or against broad-based market benchmarks like the S&P 500 or MSCI EAFE, as well as various exchange-traded funds.
