StemRIM

StemRIM is a biotechnology firm dedicated to developing regenerative medicines aimed at treating severe and challenging diseases. Its product pipeline includes PJ1, a regeneration-inducing medicine based on HMGB1 peptides, which is currently undergoing Phase II clinical trials for a range of conditions such as epidermolysis bullosa, cerebral infarction, osteoarthritis, chronic liver disease, and cardiomyopathy. Beyond PJ1, StemRIM is also advancing PJ2, another regeneration-inducing medicine utilizing novel peptides A and B; PJ3, a biologic protein designed to promote regeneration; PJ4, a device for collecting a patient's own cells for therapeutic purposes; and PJ5, a stem cell-based gene therapy. Established in 2006, StemRIM is headquartered in Ibaraki, Japan.
