Freedom Holding posts broad balance-sheet expansion and customer gains
Freedom Holding Corp. is reporting accelerated growth across its banking, brokerage and insurance businesses, driven by rapid customer acquisition and an expanding proprietary investment portfolio, the company says in a quarterly update on Feb. 10. The results underline a shift from single-line revenue toward a multi-product platform that management says supports more stable, customer-driven revenues and greater operational resilience.
Platform diversification underpins customer-driven revenue stability
Freedom Holding is increasingly relying on cross-selling and digital distribution to convert new customers into multi-product relationships, a strategy that is fueling both deposit and brokerage balance growth. The company grows banking customers from about 2.5 million to 4.5 million over nine months and expands its brokerage customer base by more than 20%, reflecting investments in mobile and online offerings that raise engagement and share of wallet. That customer growth is central to management’s view that revenue will be less cyclical and more recurring as fee, interest and insurance premium streams diversify.
Stronger liquidity and capital give the firm room to invest and absorb volatility
The firm’s bolstered liquidity — including a large increase in cash and equivalents and solid operating cash flow — provides flexibility to pursue organic expansion and technology upgrades while maintaining conservative risk controls. Management highlights that a strengthened capital base and diversified revenue mix allow Freedom Holding to optimize margins, invest in risk management and pursue measured geographic and product expansion without overextending capital.
Other financial highlights
For the third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2025, the company reports total assets of $12.38 billion, up 25% year-on-year, cash and equivalents of $3.51 billion, and operating cash flow of $1.73 billion for the nine months. Total revenue for the quarter is $628.6 million and $1.69 billion for the nine months; net income for the quarter is $76.2 million with diluted EPS of $1.25 and $2.38 for the nine-month period. Shareholders’ equity rises to $1.40 billion.
Management priorities and risk oversight
Executives emphasize continued focus on customer acquisition, digital platform enhancements and cross-selling across brokerage, banking and insurance, alongside disciplined capital allocation and margin optimization. The company also signals ongoing attention to regulatory developments as it scales operations, saying it seeks to sustain profitable growth while maintaining prudent risk controls.
